いよいよ、ファッションウィーク最終日10月19日の開催と迫ったTweed Run Tokyo 2014から豪華ゲストが公開されました。
Finally, the luxurious guest for the upcoming exhibition on the final day of Fashion Week October 19th, Tweed Run Tokyo 2014, has been revealed.
ツイードラン東京は、エコや健康、ファッションの観点から、自転車の正しい乗り方やマナーをピーアールし、ユーザーに交通ルール遵守を訴求し、東京を自転車で楽しく走ることができる街として国内外に発信し、自転車をもっと楽しむためにおしゃれをして走ることを提案。自転車をファッションのひとつのジャンルとして確立させ、ファッション産業の活性化に繋げるというミッションのもと、ロンドンのツィードランのオフィシャルイベントとしてファッションウィークに合わせ３年前から東京に行われているイベント。
Tweed Run Tokyo promotes such things as manners and the proper way to ride a bicycle from an ecological, health-oriented, and fashion point of view. They ask users to adhere to traffic laws, dispatch both home and abroad that Tokyo is a city in which people can bike enjoyably, and make suggestions for how to fashionably ride in order to further enjoy bicycles. It is an official event of London’s Tweed Run and has been taking place in Tokyo during Fashion Week for the past three years.
昨年はスージーバブルらの著名ブロガーも参加し年々話題をあつめている本イベントですが、今年は英国発のストリートカジュアルウェアブランド、ザ・ダファー・オブ・セントジョージを立ち上げた伝説メンバーのひとり。現在はダファーのデザイン全般におけるクリエーティブディレクターを務める”Marco Cairns//マルコ・ケアンズ”や、日本の繊細な技術と機能的なアイディアを融合させた衣服としてのハイテク・アウターウェアNorwegian Rainのデザインデュオの”T-Michael // Alexander Helle”の二人に加え、もはや説明不要の世界のファッションアイコン”Nickelson Wooster”らが登場します。
また、数々のファッションメディアでも活躍している実力派DJのFYS aka BINGOや、DJ RIE (GrienMonster) 、USkeyら豪華DJ陣がゲストミュージックセレクターとして会場を盛り上げる。スペシャルゲストとして、ファッション・プロデューサーNIGOがアルバムのアートワークを行ったことでも有名な、1966カルテットが特別ライブを実施致します。
Well-known blogger Susie Bubble participated last year, and the event gathers themes yearly. This year will debut Marco Cairns, Creative Director for general design at Duffer and the design duo T-Michael and Alexander Helle of Norwegian Rain, who will be joined by world fashion icon Nickelson Wooster. And, as a special guest, there will a special live performance by the famous 1966 Quartet, with fashion producer NIGO providing album artwork.
グループライドに参加しない人も楽しめるように、シェアードテラス 外苑いちょう並木前には、ツイードや自転車関連の展示やコーヒーの販売なども行うマルシェも開催!
